Welcome at this must-have pocket shawl crochet pattern. I used Scheepjes Roma yarn to make this. The shawl measures 150 by 35 cm.
Crochet gauge: 20 dc in width and 12 rows in height = 4 by 4 inch (10 by 10 cm).

This pocket shawl goes well with the must-have headband crochet pattern.
- 350 g Scheepjes Roma color 1667
- crochet hook size 5 mm
- ch = chain
- st = stitch
- sc = single crochet
- dc = double crochet
- v-stitch (dc, ch 1, dc) in the same stitch.
Must-have pocket shawl crochet pattern
|1||V-stitch in 3rd ch from the hook. * Skip the next ch, sc in the next, skip the next ch, v-stitch in the next. Repeat from * until the end of the row and crochet 1 sc in de last ch. Turn.|
|2||Ch 4, *sc in chainspace of v-stitch from the previous row. Ch 1, dc in sc from previous row, ch 1. Repeat from * until the end of the row and crochet a dc in the last stitch. Turn.|
|3||Ch 1, v-stitch in first sc from previous row. Sc in the next dc from previous row. *V-stitch in next sc, sc in next dc. Repeat from * until the end of the row and crochet 1 sc in the 3rd of the 4 starting chains. Turn.|
Repeat row 2 and 3 another 21 times. Crochet row 2 one more time.
Chain 1 and turn. Crochet a sc in each dc, each ch and each sc. Crochet a sc, ch 1 and sc in the corner. Continue along the side and crochet an edge with sc as you go.
In the next corner you crochet a sc, ch 1 and sc. Crochet single crochets along the bottom. Sc, ch 1, sc in the third corner, crochet sc along the last side. Crochet a sc and ch1 in the last corner and close with a slip stitch. Fasten off and weave in the ends.
Chain 49. Crochet round 1 and 2 (like you did at the shawl). Repeat row 3 and 2 another 11 times. Crochet an edge with single crochets along the sides, like you did at the shawl. Make another pocket in the same way. Sew them on the sides of the shawl.
